Why it is used

How long it remains

The local storage value remains until you clear the website’s data in your browser, use a private browsing session that discards storage, or otherwise remove it through browser settings.

How to manage it

You can clear local storage through your browser’s site-data controls. Clearing that data will cause the cookie notice to appear again on a later visit. You can continue reading the website without accepting non-essential storage because none is used.
